We are a fast-growing start-up headquartered in Brussels that recently joined the group Lectra, a global technology leader with more than 40 years of expertise in the fashion industry. By joining our forces, we have the ambition to revolutionise the way fashion retailers are doing business. Our customers, like Sandro, Maje, Etam, Pimkie, Galeries Lafayette use our software to understand what's happening in their market. We provide merchandisers and buyers with a powerful and user-friendly analytics platform to make the best decisions at every moment throughout the life cycle of a product. The retail industry produces a tremendous amount of content, from images to texts. We are now looking for a new colleague ready to develop the next generation of insights combining business and programming expertise.

We’re looking for a sales professional with two or more years’ worth of experience in B2B SaaS sales or in a retail head office. As a Business Developer at RETVIEWS we’ll expect you to build and maintain relationships with potential customers, develop new opportunities through a consultative sales approach, and of course, drive those opportunities through to close. You’ll be managing multiple opportunities at once, so you’ll need to be organised, process driven and diligent to ensure that leads turn into sales. We sell a product in a trillion-dollar industry and got recognized by some of the global fashion leaders as the most disrupting product of the year so don’t worry - if you’ll work hard, you’ll play hard.

Your responsibilities:
  • Use your initiative and entrepreneurship to reach your market and develop your pipeline
  • Articulate and understand the value of RETVIEWS to world-leading brands and retailers
  • Understand our customers’ roles and pain points thoroughly enough to suggest meaningful solutions
  • Build professional relationships that become commercial relationships
  • Negotiate and close new deals in order to hit commercial targets
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects
  • Successfully negotiate contracts with clients, working closely with our sales management, finance and legal teams
  • Become an accredited expert on the RETVIEWS software and the retail industry in general
  • Follow sales processes, use sales tools (CRM, ERP, etc.) to document sales activities and suggest/share improvements
You are:
  • A true “sales hunter” with a ‘go-for-it” attitude
  • Experienced in direct sales in the B2B market and in developing new business relationships
  • Fluent in at least English and French – for the rest you can use signs to make yourself understood
  • Excited about travelling the world to open new markets and discovering new business cultures
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication skills
  • A great listener and a fast learner willing to make an impact that matters
  • A clear and concise speaker - people pay attention when you speak
  • Considered and confident - you are not afraid to present and to engage with customers
  • Curious - our fulfilment comes from the daily learnings you made and shared with others
  • Entrepreneurial, independent and self-motivated - you love to get your hands dirty, you’re always eager to learn new things and innovate/improve processes
  • KPI and target driven
  • Chatty with a great sense of humour
